چکیده

Intestinal microbiota imbalance may worsen the progression of ulcerative colitis (UC). Lacticaseibacillus rhamnosus LS8 (LR) has potential ability to regulate through producing a novel antibacterial substance, cyclic opine: cycloalanopine. This study aimed investigate whether LR could ameliorate dextran sulfate sodium-induced UC in mice via modulating intestinal using fecal transplantation (FMT) experiment. The results showed that both and FMT attenuated as evidenced by (1) alleviating disease activity index colonic pathology; (2) up-regulating MUCs tight junction proteins; (3) increasing oxidative mediators decreasing antioxidant mediators; (4) down-regulating proinflammatory cytokines chemokines. These were mainly attributable microbiota-regulating effect LR, including beneficial bacteria (like Akkermansia) its related SCFAs, while harmful Proteobacteria) LPS, thereby suppressing hyperactivation TLR4/NF-κB. Consequently, can alleviate is dietary supplement attenuate UC.

Variation in clinical evidence has prevented the adoption of fecal microbiota transplantation (FMT) in patients with ulcerative colitis (UC). We aimed to conduct a systematic review and meta-analysis to determine the efficacy and safety of FMT in UC.A systematic literature search was performed in 5 electronic databases from inception through September 2015. Inclusion criteria were reports of FM...

exome sequencing studies of sporadic tumors, this discovery is noteworthy in that it provides a new and rational target for investigation. IPMK is an inositol phosphate kinase, and the authors describe a link between IPMK and p53-mediated apoptosis. It will be important to understand the importance of this interaction in the context of homeostasis and transformation of enteroendocrine cells. Pr...

Fecal microbiota in pouchitis and ulcerative colitis

AIM To investigate the changes in microbiota in feces of patients with ulcerative colitis (UC) and pouchitis using genomic technology. METHODS Fecal samples were obtained from UC patients with or without an ileal pouch-anal anastomosis (IPAA) procedure, as well as healthy controls. The touchdown polymerase chain reaction technique was used to amplify the whole V3 region of the 16S rRNA gene, ...
